International Day for The Elimination Of Violence Against Women
25 November 2020: Her Majesty Gyalyum Sangay Choden Wangchuck, Honorable Health Minister, Dignitaries and Members of the UN Agencies, International Community and National Partner Organizations observed the "International Day for The Elimination Of Violence Against Women," organized by RENEW at the Tara Lhaden Zhingkham Lhakhang in Pangrizampa, Thimphu.
Theme: "Orange the World: Fund, Respond, Prevent, Collect"
The color orange symbolizes a bringer future free of violence. It is also used to demonstrate solidarity in eliminating all forms of violence.
