A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Gyalyum Charitable Trust and the Department of Culture and Dzongkha Development, Ministry of Home Affairs, Royal Government of Bhutan for collaboration on conservation projects under Punakha Dzongkhag.

These conservation efforts are on the command of Her Majesty the Gyalyum Sangay Choden Wangchuck.

The Gyalyum Charitable Trust will support the funding amount of Nu.2,217,999 (Ngultrum Two Million Two Hundred Seventeen Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-Nine) towards:

1) The Nobgang Lhakhang Textile Conservation Project (Talo Gewog) and

2) The Chorten Ningpo Stupa Conservation Project (Kabjisa Gewog)

Aum Tshering Uden Penjor, the Executive Director of the Gyalyum Charitable Trust and Aum Nagtsho Dorji, Director of the Department of Culture and Dzongkha Development, signed the MOU on 29 March 2023 at the Department of Culture and Dzongkha Development.
